Oh Yes!!!

The child who laid at rest . . . in Mary's lap . . . while the angels were singing with their soft voices. The cold breeze, those sparkling christmas lights, tall christmas trees, the custom of exchanging christmas gifts . . . Oh, it's already December! It's Christmas!
Christmas day is a holy day primarily celebrated by us the Christians. Christmas Day is celebrated every 25th day of December. It commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ. People send each other cards and give gifts to their family, relatives and friends. But we should also share of what we have to those less fortunate. We should give love not only on Christmas Day but everyday. This is the true message of Christmas. For truly GOD taught us to love one another. There are many gifts we can give to our family and friends, but how about to our community? There are many gifts we can also give to our community and we must start it with in our selves. We must be more aware of what is happening to our present life.
Christmas Day is the day which is very important to us because it's not the gift and the food but the love we give.

The world is facing many dilemma now. Problems that affects us greatly.

There are many problems that we are now facing---especially about the environment. Pollution---the threat to us human beings and to our Mother Nature. Poluted waters, the thinning ozone layers, the harshlydominating smog and the biggest environmental problemwe are now facing---GLOBAL WARMING.

We, the human beings is now facing these problems with our huge population is at risk. Is the earth condemned to suffer forever to a hopelessly toxic environment?

Why does it takes us so long to do something about it? Maybe because of we are not awarelack of awareness.

This past month (November) many unforgettable things happened. The Values Club conducted many activities were we the students actively participated. Every morning, after the flag ceremony is the Morning Trivia, other activities were done in differentdates such as like the cookfest, kite flying, poster and slogan making.

It's tough for the studentry especially to those sections whom Ma'am Parel once teaches to let go. We, the IV-Maxwell students had a farewell to her.

My Reflections in the Second Quarter

Second Grading Period is over. Time runs so fast that we are now entering the Third Grading. Let me share you my experiences, my mixed emotions in our Second Grading.
The lessons in TLE ICT IV gets a little bit harder as we move on. We have also learned many things about Computer Education. Our teacher introduced to us many things about Hyper TextMarkupLanguage (HTML) -- HTML File, HTML Editors, Markup Tags and many others.
I enjoy my Second Grading in TLE ICT IV somuch. Specially, I like the times were in we are making or blogs, our activities. In our activities, we first create an HTML File, the Basic HTML Tags, headings andothers.
But sometimes, I am lazy in creating some of my activities . Yes, forit's sensitive. HTML Tags are sensitive.
Moving on, I must be more or must have patience. Patience in making our activities so that I will not be hardup in the next gradings.

My Teacher,My Hero

Teacher??? What comes to your mind when you hear this word? A teacher is someone whose work is to teach his or her pupils to become successful someday.
A teacher is someone who teaches us, prepare us for our future and to make us ready to become more successful someday. But is this the onlything a teacher does everyday? NO,it's not! A teacher comes early to school and goes home late, so tired. And at night, a teacher prepare his or her lesson plans and visual aids he or she will use for the next day. is heor she doe have a time for her family? I thinkhe or she don't have for even Saturdays they are reporting to school and if not, they are busy doing their lesson plans and visual aids. A teacher is always ready to fight for her pupil's right. Teachers are heroes --- living heroes.
A teacher is our second mother. And so just like our true mother, our teacher also scolds us, right? Yes, for we are already getting irresponsible and can't manage our time properly. And so, we cannot blame our teachers fordoing that.
There are many professions now but although there are many professions, it is so useless with out teachers. So we must be thankful to our teachers for they are willing to sacrifice everything just to make his or her pupils successful someday.

Adapting to Diverse Science Culture for Development

Science and Technology is as important as any precious materials found on Earth but if abused by us, it will be our primary enemy that kills our lives.
Even from the early beginnings, Sciencewas known as one of the greatest and most influential fields in the humanity. Even if whateever we are doing, Science can ableto explain a certain thing to us. Almost all that we can see, feel, hear or touch that seems to be so impossible becomes impossible becomes possible through Science and Technology. Science and Technology had brought a significant role in the people's everyday lives. They both have an effect on the way we live.
But scientific discoveriesalso have a negative effect on us, and on the environment. It kills us silently when we abuse these products of Science and Technology. Some of the technological advances where in itmakes our lives easier and more enjoyable have an unwanted effect on us.

WIKANG FILIPINO MULA BALER HANGGANG SA BUONG BANSA

Philippines as we all know is known as the "Perlas ng Silangan." It is a country that has many beautiful sceneries consisting of seven thousand one hundred seven (7107) islands divided into three--Luzon Visayas and Mindanao. It is a beautiful place to explore. It has many sceneries that we must treasure a lot.
There are so many dialects or indigenous languages are used in the Philippines. But I think Tagalog, Ilocano, Cebuano, Pangasinense are the most widely used dialects used inthe Philippines.English and Filipino languages are the official languages used in the Philippines.
Just like these beautiful sceneries to treasure, we must also treasure this language. Let us be proud to use this language. The language of the brave heroes-- Filipino.
We must use the Filipino language from what ever we are doing, where ever we are and when ever we are. Wemust usethis with kindness. We are very lucky to have a language that only we the Filipinos are the ones using and who can understand this language. It is not just like any other languages wherein almost allof us can understand....

Mind your Subject

Since I entered Ilocos Sur National High School, I was amazed to the subjects they've been teaching us specially in Computer Education where in the learning and the experiences is different from other subjects and even from other schools.
From the very beginning of the school year, the TLE Department is already behind us -- to fortify us. Still at the beginning of classes, our teacher Mrs. Vera Cruz had already shared to us so much learning such that the history of the Internet up to how to create and post a blog that we are now applying. She is indeed a great teacher and a teacher full of patience as I discovered since the very beginning.
But problems and challenges are always there to bedazzle us. But this is not a reason for us not to have our class. There are times that our teacher is not around especially in the month of July--the Nutrition Month.
These problems and challenges are not a reason for us not to have our class. What are we doing whenever we don't have our class? Simply we are just comtinuing the tasks or activities our teacher gave us. We are not just wasting our time in chatting or doing non sense things.
Moving on, I will do my best for me to coop up with the lessons and the thus to gain more learnings. Whenever our teacher is not around, I will use my time wisely in things which is connected in our subject such like doing my essay.

Speak to me in English or Filipino with Kindness

Language. A principal means we are using to communicate with one another.
A week ago or two, the English and Filipino Clubs joined forces in campaigning for us to use the English and Filipino languages inside the campus with kindness.
Here in the Philippines, English and Filipino languages are the official languages we are usually using. Filipino is largely based on Tagalog with many words adopted from others inlcuding English and Spanish. It was made the national language in 1987 in an attempt to address the fact that no two of the indigenous languages are mutually comprehensible. It is a required subject in schools but English is more commonly used in higher education.
English language as we all know is the universal language thus,it is the language primarily used all over the world. It is prevailed as the most widely used language internationally. Here in the Philippines, we are also using this language. In higher education, English is commonly used rather than Filipino language. This language is also commonly used in government and in commerece.
Pimary problem of us, the Filipino students is that we cannot speak in Englishrather than Tagalog fluently. So, we can solve such problem by using this languages always.

"Wastong Nutrisyon Kailangan,Lifestyle Diseases Iwasan."

Every seventh month of the year, the entire Philippines is celebrating something. Do you knows what it is?Every month of July is the Nutrition Month and this year's theme is "Wastong Nutrisyon Kailangan,Lifestyle Diseases Iwasan."
As the theme itself, we already know that it isall about our proper nutrition and healthy life style.most dangerous diseases of today is the A(H1N1) and so with dengue and people are alarmed that they don't even know what to do. And also, some of the most cause of death today is the heart failure, cancer, diabetes, pulmonary diseases and others. Because of our improper life style, we are suffering all of these diseases. Because of the salty foods we are eating, fatty and salty foods we are taking in, tobaccos and alcohols we are consuming in, our body parts are the ones suffering. So, if we want to avoid all of these, we must have to eat a well balanced diet and must have a healthy life style. Even our school is participating in the said celebration. it was still the beginning of July, our school was already conducted a Nutriquiz held at the library. On the third month of July, an oratorical contest was conducted at the AVR. There was also a Mural Painting conducted at TLE Building .The next day, there was also a Cook Fest conducted in front of the TLE Building. From July13-17,there was a Food Fest conducted in front of the TLE Building and we the Seniors were scheduled in July16 and we enjoyed selling our nutritious and mouth-watering snacks. July 17, all year levels were competed but because of the "Bagyong Isang," the food fest was not continued but that storm was not a reason for us not to sell the food we prepared. Our product was sold in our classmates inside our room...
See? Even our school was also participating in the celebration of the Nutrition Month. See how happ, how effective this celebration is in promoting GOOD NUTRITION AND HEALTHY LIFE STYLE!!!
